Fruity Fall · Privacy

Updated 6 October 2026

Fruity Fall is made by Ivan Rodin. This page explains what the game keeps about you, why, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to fruityfall@rodn.dev.

What the game keeps

Fruity Fall signs you in anonymously through Unity Gaming Services, so your progress can be kept and the day's Daily table works. No email, phone number or real name is asked for.

On the server the game keeps: an anonymous player ID; the name and avatar you chose (the name is picked from word lists, or typed by adults); the age you gave, which decides the child mode; your settings; your coins, boosters, looks, level, achievements and statistics; and your Daily and duel results with the record of each run (drops, their timing and the score), used to check that results are plausible and to play a run back as a duel opponent.

If you report a name in a table, the server keeps the report with your player ID, so each player counts once.

Like any online service, Unity's servers see your device's IP address and may use it to work out a rough location, such as your country. Unity's service libraries also create an installation ID for the copy of the game on your device, and may send Unity error reports that do not identify you.

Who handles it

The game data is stored for us by Unity Technologies, the maker of Unity Gaming Services, on Unity's servers, which may be outside your country. Unity uses it to run the service and does not sell it. When you buy something or ask Apple for a refund, Apple tells our own server at fruitfall.rodn.dev, which matches it to your purchase record.

What others see

The day's Daily table shows your name, avatar, level and best score of the day to other players. In duels your recorded run can be played back as another player's opponent, and the season table shows your name, avatar, league and trophies. There is no chat.

Purchases

Payments are made through the App Store; the game never sees your card. The server keeps a record of each purchase so it can be granted, restored on your other devices and withdrawn after a refund.

What the game does not do

No advertising, no analytics SDK and no tracking across apps or websites. Data is not sold or shared for marketing.

Children

In the child mode names come only from word lists, purchases and outside links sit behind a parental gate, and nothing beyond what the game needs is collected. A parent can ask us to delete a child's data at the address below.

How long it is kept

Your data is kept for as long as your player account exists. You can delete your account in the game: Settings, Delete account. This deletes your data from your phone and from our server at once; a record of each purchase stays, without your player ID, so a refund can still be handled. If you write to us instead, we delete it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask what we keep about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. We keep this data to run the game you asked to play, and to keep results fair. Write to fruityfall@rodn.dev. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
